The International Leaders Conference for DEHolding Partners will be held from October 7th to October 13th!
The next stop at this event will be the Karnak Temple - the largest place of worship in ancient Egypt, dedicated to the deities of the Theban Triad, the main state sanctuary of the New Kingdom. The complex includes temples dedicated to the Theban Triad - the supreme god Ammon-Ra, his wife Mut, the mother deity of the Theban Triad, and the son of Ammon-Ra and Mut, Khonsu, the god of war of the Theban Triad.
200 years ago, the Karnak Temple was completely covered with sand. Only In the 19th century, archaeologists began excavations and work continues to this day.
The temple site is essentially a huge open-air museum and the largest place of worship the ancient world. It is probably the second largest archaeological site in Egypt after the Giza Pyramids.
For example, the length of the "Sphinx Road" was about 3.5 kilometers. On both sides of the road there are stone figures with ram heads. On the shore of a small lake, on the south side of the temple, there is a stone scarab statue. According to legend, if you walk several times around it, you will be forever fortunate in your life.
