Probiotics are used to help the body normalize the balance of bacteria. These are live microbiological food supplements that contain potentially beneficial bacteria that are able to restore the microbiological environment of the intestines.
As you know, our intestines are home to many types of bacteria. Those that are useful are called probiotics. The term "pro" means "for" and "biotic" comes from the Greek “bioti”, which means "life".
